One of our biggest assets is our nurturing staff and their loyalty and passion for Yarraleen Preschool.

Eufratia Mandhela
(Educator)
My name is Eufratia and I am the Rainbow Group’s teacher. I have completed my Master of Teaching in Early Childhood Education from The University of Melbourne and have 2 beautiful girls of my own.
I have a passion for children’s learning and development and to be able to cope with the unprecedented change in their era. In today’s globalized world, I believe that children should embrace 21st century skills through interdisciplinary learnings. Such learnings are often made possible through a project-based approach that stems from their own interest and that lasts for an extended period of time. This gives children the opportunity to engage in complex challenges, develop problem-solving skills, build resilience and ask questions.
Through their duration, I hope to ignite their desire for learning and grow their soft skills such as social-emotional learning, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity. I look forward to having great fun and learning with the children and create a myriad of unforgettable moments in their first step towards meaningful education.

Elizabeth Guest
(Co-Educator)
I have always had a passion for working with preschool aged children. After having 4 gorgeous children of my own, I qualified as an Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Development. I also have a certificate in gymnastics for pre-schoolers which I incorporate into our program, as well as a “Beyou” course that cemented my knowledge in supporting children’s mental wellbeing. You will find that I am very passionate, playful, caring, nurturing and who is a big kid at heart.
I love to work on developing children’s skills further within a nurturing environment, whilst getting them ready for school. I am a big advocate for mental wellbeing, and developing skills for social and emotional learning, building resilience and assisting those who suffer with anxiety.
I find it incredibly rewarding watching them grow and develop whilst exploring the world around them. I thank you for entrusting me to care for your children, I feel very honoured.

Lisa Booth
(Co-Educator)
Hi, my name is Lisa and I work with the 4-year-old group. I cover Eufratia and Elizabeth on their lunch breaks and am a co-educator with Elizabeth on Friday afternoons.
I am a mum to 3 very energetic boys. After my eldest started school, I developed a pleasure in seeing him grow and accomplish tasks with my help. It felt good to teach him strategies and watch him reach his goals.
Once my youngest started kinder I decided to return to study and obtained my certificate 3 in early childhood education.
Whilst my time is short with the children, I love getting to know them all and most of all having fun with them.
